My niece once refused to eat because her video would not load. That day I saw the problem was not only screen time. It was what the screen was feeding her.
Indian children under five spend about 2.2 hours a day on screens, more than double the one hour the WHO advises.
Stories add up. A child read one picture book a day hears about 290,000 more words by age 5 than a child who isn’t.
In a trial across 24 preschool classrooms, recorded stories with built-in word lessons taught children new words like brave, protect and disappointed.
Every story is built around one of these, matched to your child’s age. No lectures. Your child is the hero who solves the problem, so the lesson feels like their own.

Their name, age, family and city. You do this once, and every story uses it.
Each story is written for your child’s exact age, then tested by a separate story checker. If it falls short anywhere, it is rewritten.
Your child listens, in English or Hindi. Or pick a text story and read it aloud yourself at bedtime.
“I do these in ChatGPT right now. Give it context and scenario and it gives me a story. But the quality isn’t consistent there.”
Written for your child’s age, held to 40+ rules on what every story must and must never have, then scored by a separate checker against classic children’s books. Anything that falls short is rewritten.
A sibling, the pet, a favourite toy. Set in your own city and home.
A two-year-old and a nine-year-old need different stories. Each year from 2 to 9 has its own words, story length and kind of story.
Told in the rhythm your child hears at home, with a natural voice for each age.
A parent dashboard shows what your child heard and which skill each story built.
“Personalisation works well… I am currently using it when I have to put my son to bed.”
“The stories are genuinely about them (kids) — the name, their world, the details fit.”
“This is a life-saver. My son keeps asking for Lulu. He loves the stories, and I’m not inventing a new one every single night anymore.”
“It’s what I reach for when I’m busy and need him happily occupied.”
Yes. An AI writes each story, following a method guided by a child psychologist. Every story then passes three levels of checks: it is written for your child’s age, held to more than 40 rules on what a story must and must never contain, and scored by a separate AI against classic children’s books. A story that falls short is rewritten before your child hears it. The narration is an AI voice too. How we keep stories safe
No. Our early families listen during the day as often as at bedtime: at play, on car rides and over meals. Calm and sleep stories are there for winding down when you need them.
Children aged 2 to 9. English stories cover every age from 2 to 9. Hindi stories are for ages 2 to 6 today.
Audio stories run about 5 to 15 minutes. Text stories, which you read aloud, take about 3 to 10 minutes.
They stay private to your account. We never sell them and we never show ads. We use them only to make your child’s stories.
Soon after you sign up. The story library is open to you straight away, and if a friend invited you, you skip the wait.
We’ll email you our plans by mid-December. Some stories will stay free, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
